When the World for the Narrow

AlDakwah.org--Have you ever felt the earth we live in becomes so narrow that we breath becomes congested? Hear the story of Ka'b ibn Malik fifteen centuries ago.

When the noble Prophet set out war with the friends he was in Tabuk war, there were three friends who are reluctant to join the ranks of the army of the Prophet, ie Ka'b ibn Malik, the Umayyad and bin Hilal bin Rabi'a Mararah.

Ka'b told him, "When I heard the news that the Prophet had returned from Tabuk, occurred in my heart to lie. I think of how to survive the wrath of the Prophet. But when the Prophet had arrived in Medina, I think that I'm not going to survive at all.

I then decided to tell the truth why I did not go to war with him. "Prophet arrived in Medina. I met him. He smiled, a smile angry.

"Come here," said the Prophet. I sat near him. The noble Prophet asked, "What is causing you not go to war?" I said, O Messenger of Allah, if I'm facing the people of the world besides you, of course I was able to save themselves from the wrath to make excuses. But, by Allah, if I lie to you so that you pleasure, may God make you angry with me soon. By Allah, I do not have any reason. By Allah, when I left myself, I was in good condition (and able to fight).

The Apostle said, "This man speaks true. Go on, until Allah gives a decision about you."
The Prophet then isolating Ka'b and his two friends until the verdict comes from God. The Prophet forbade Muslims to speak to them. Even their wives were then prohibited from approaching them. Muslims face the same when seen Ka'b. They quickly look away.

Ka'b told him, "I prayed with the Muslims berjam'ah. I wander around town and the market. No one spoke. I went to the Apostle after
prayer. I say hello to him. I want to know if he moved his lips returned salamku.Aku nearby and tried to pray glance
him. After the prayer he saw me, but soon turned him towards another direction.

I left the Prophet. I walked and walked, up to my cousin's house, Abu Qatada. I said hello, but by God he did not answer my compliments. I said, "O Abu Qatada, you know that I love Allah and His Messenger? I repeat several times. Abu Qatada was silent. I repeat again. He said," Allah and His Messenger know best. "Tears welled up in my eyes. I went from his house. "

This incident took place fifty days. Ka'b and two friends retreated to a hill. His family brought food to them.
One day Ka'b said, "People are forbidden to speak to us. We were not talking to each other properly. After that they lived far apart.

Delegates also came from Syria who intend to embrace Ka'b and his two friends that defected from Islam and joined the non-Muslims. Ka'b
said, "This offer is also part of the ordeal." Ka'b menampiknya and remain faithful in Islam has been isolated even by Muslims.

Every day Ka'b and the other two had prayed, and cried beristighfar. After fifty days, Allah revealed the verse: "

(And God also forgives) the three people who leave themselves behind. When the earth was spread wide to narrow them and they feel their breath shortness. They know that there is no refuge but God. Then God loves them so that they return to God. Recipient Repentance for Allah, most merciful "(Sura 9: 118)

Ka'b heard the news this remission after hugging subuh.Ia anchor. He lay himself prostrate gratitude. Soon he met the Apostle. Apostle greeted with a shining smile. When he saw the Prophet reception like that (which is different from before). Ka'b can not hold back her tears. He kissed his hands and feet noble Messenger. Because she was forgiven because of his honesty, he promised that from then on his tongue will never speak a lie.

Although we must repent describe tears; Reach for divine forgiveness, though we must be "isolated" among humankind.
